Word count for the Medical and Biomedical Manuscript Rewriting service is the word count of the manuscript you submit to us. Word count for this service includes only the text in the body of the manuscript. Abstract, references, tables and figure legends are excluded from the word count.
If there is more than 20% increase in the final word count required by you from the word count of the draft manuscript you give us, additional charges may apply (e.g. If the word count of the draft manuscript you give us is 2000 words then the final word count required by you can be from 1600 to 2400 words. If the word count required by you is less than 1600 words or exceeds 2400 words additional charges will apply).
For each manuscript type we may need specific data and documents.
E.g. 1: For writing a case report we might need the following data - aims and objectives, pictures of the patient/lesion/gross specimen, radiology images, photomicrographs, history, physical examination and laboratory investigations, clinical/pathologic diagnosis, data for graphs/charts/tables etc.
E.g. 1: For writing an original article we might need the following data - aims and objectives, data in MS excel format, results of statistical analysis, pictures of the patient/lesion/gross specimen, radiology images, photomicrographs, tables/charts/graphs etc.
